Beginner’s courses
If you fancy trying your hand with a bow and arrow, sign up to our beginner’s course. We provide all the equipment you need to learn, so there’s no need to buy anything beforehand. Our highly experienced coaches will take you through all that you need to know to shoot safely, as well as accurately.
Hampstead Bowmen runs four Beginner’s Courses throughout the year. They require six Saturday morning sessions (which last 2 hours) to be fully attended. At the end of the course you will have become a Novice Archer and will be eligible for GNAS membership which will allow you to become a member of any club in the country.
- Fee: £100
- Day: Saturday mornings
- Time: 10:30 – 13:00 (First session)
11:00 – 13:00 (for the remaining five sessions)
- Venue: Royal Free Hospital Recreation Centre, Hampstead
